About Me and Scooterpaws

My love for cats and dogs goes way back. When I was a child, our family cat Scooter, dog Lulu, and I shared our own special language — and to this day I still adore inventing games with animals.

Over time, those warm connections with furry friends kept growing. More than 20 years ago, so many people were asking for cat sitting and small dog sitting — and I was so happy to help — that Scooterpaws was born.

I've intentionally kept Scooterpaws a one-person business so that I can keep that personal touch at the heart of everything I do.​​

Being Aunt Andrea to my clients’ pets is such a joy. I’m charmed by how individual their characters are — some are shy, some are bold. Each one has a spirit that really charms me.
