About Me and Scooterpaws

My love for cats and dogs goes way back. When I was a child our Mini Schnauzer and I shared our own language, and to this day I adore inventing games with animals.

Warm connections with the furry ones kept multiplying. At one point over 20 years ago, so many folks were asking for cat sitting and small dog sitting and I was so happy to do it that Scooterpaws was launched. Cherished kitty Scooter is the namesake.

I’m passionate about being Aunt Andrea for my clients' pets.
Animals bring me such deep joy. When pets feel safe and loved while their people are away, it's wonderfully gratifying.

I’m charmed by how individual their characters are. Some are shy, some are bold. They each have their own spirit and it really endears me to them.

 And animals are so smart. They remind me about the important things in life:
love, play, food, sleep... and a little mischief. :-)
